Our friends, Steph & Tom are being married this coming Saturday.
(Photo from my Pinterest board, forgot to take a pic of the one on my front door that day!)
Tom’s family is from the UK, so we waited until close to the wedding to hold the bridal shower, so his mum could attend. We had gorgeous weather for a very special day. The bride-to-be is another beekeeper. We designed a fabulous cake, decorated with all daisies on the top. The bees were added later as a special touch.
Instead of Fruit Kabobs we decided to cut the fruit up into tiny pieces. We put a dollop of a yummy pineapple-coconut fruit dip in the bottom of mini champagne flutes, followed by strawberries, bluberries, tiny green grapes and pineapple pieces. And we found miniature “silver” forks to put in there too. Tasted as great as they looked.
And we had lots of fun drinks, and more bite sized desserts.
Decorated the outside with some lavender poufs. (warning, these are very time consuming decorations to assemble!)
We asked all the guests to sign the bottom of Steph’s shoes, so she would have all her girlfriend’s good wishes with her as she walks down the aisle.
The wedding will be here in just 2 days!
Congrats to the bride and groom!
