Have you seen all the acrylic being used lately? It’s been around a long time, being used in furniture, accessories, even stair railings.  But, I’m starting to see a resurgence lately. Here’s an ottoman from Century Furniture.  This particular piece can be customized to your specifications, including the width and length.

I just love the way a piece looks that has acrylic legs.  It appears to be floating in the room.  It’s a great look especially when you have a gorgeous rug you don’t want to hide.

It’s also such a great neutral, it really works with everything. The following images are from Luxe Magazine. You can click over to my Pinterest board and find more information about each one.

The last photo shows the classic Philippe Starck Louis Ghost Chair.  These work really well in a tight space where you just don’t want to have the visual heaviness of too much furniture.

I have a couple of fun vintage acrylic pieces in my own home, but mostly all are just accessories.  Do you own any acrylic pieces?  What do you think?
